It's been a work in progress, but we finally planted our first full garden. When we first moved in, we were blessed with some produce to harvest from Chris and Linda's garden when they moved out, but this is OURS! yay! Duane worked hard to prepare the ground for it, tilling in peat moss and steer manure, then using a heavy sled to drag a bunch of dirt from the bottom of the slope up to the top. I helped some, but Duane got the heavy work.
Today Mom Tucker and I got to plant everything. We took a break, but we still got done in just a few hours. I was really glad to have the help, wisdom, and experience of Mom T in the process.

At the end of the day, here's our freshly planted and watered garden! Yay!
Now to see if it survives the summer! It'll be a bonus if we get yumminess in the process.
